Світовий рейтинг дослідницьких груп
Дві українські інституції увійшли до міжнародного рейтингу провідних дослідницьких груп. Це Міжнародний центр політичних досліджень (International Center for Policy Studies) та Український центр економічних і політичних досліджень імені Олександра Разумкова.
У 2008 році вийшов перший, пілотний проект «Світовий рейтинг дослідницьких груп» (The Global Go-To Think Tanks), який провів професор університету Пенсільванії Джеймс Макганн (James McGann). У 2009 робота охопила 5645 дослідницьких центрів з усього світу. Список найкращих складається з 407 установ.
Рейтинг базується на опитуванні представників дослідницьких центрів з усього світу. Вони могли оцінювати своїх колег за такими критеріями: вплив установи у країні та світі, авторитет серед політиків і редакторів поважних видань, академічна репутація, здатність залучити у дослідження провідних учених і аналітиків, вплив на політичну думку, опубліковані статті, інтерв’ю, дослідження тощо.
